Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 3, 2026
A Better Newspaper (“we,” “us”) is a personalized, AI-curated news briefing. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. We aim to collect as little as possible.
What we collect
- Subscription details. If you subscribe, we store your email address and (optionally) your name so we can send the briefing.
- Anonymous usage analytics. We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to count page views and visits. This does not identify you and does not use tracking cookies or advertising profiles.
- Email engagement. Our email provider may record whether a message was delivered, opened, or its links clicked, to keep delivery healthy.
How we use it
Solely to deliver and improve the briefing. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not show third-party advertising.
Service providers
We rely on a small set of processors to operate: Vercel (hosting and anonymous analytics), Supabase (database), Resend (email delivery), and Anthropic (AI processing of publicly available source content). Each handles data only as needed to provide its service.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email, which stops all future emails. To access or delete the information we hold about you, email hello@abetternewspaper.com.
Children
This service is not directed to children under 16.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
